My Big Fat Fabulous Life is an American reality show that focuses on the life of Whitney Thore, who is a dancer who has to deal with many struggles in her life to achieve her goals which are majorly associated with her obesity and all the stereotypes attached to it. I honestly have to roll my eyes when they video someone “massaging” her “butt/back” because she is “in pain” or when they show her mother having to shave the backs of her legs for her. I find none of that fascinating, particularly in a television show.

I appreciate this program immensely. In general, most of us face life’s difficulties, friendships, and decisions. Buddy is the only concept I do not grasp. Why Whitney “believes” he is her, or anyone’s buddy is beyond me, and as an abysmal example of a human being, he has no place on the show. Why would you allow him to be in your “circle” when he was dishonest and cruel to Heather, who was kind to him? Learn how to push toxic individuals to the side, not invest in them, and be true to your connection with Heather by doing so. Why Whitney would allow a person as worthless as Buddy to become a point of disagreement with Chase is beyond my comprehension. Buddy has had countless opportunities to stand up and be at least a man, much alone Whitney’s buddy, but he has NEVER achieved even the tiniest measure of success. Don’t let Buddy ruin this wonderful new guy. I will appreciate the performance more if he is no longer a part of it since I enjoy her other pals and prefer to see them all.
