K-Fest Abu Dhabi 2022

In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism and Yas, Hyperound K- Fest will host the Korean Music Festival for the first time in Abu Dhabi. The K-Fest will feature ten of the biggest Korean music sensations performing in various genres like Korean hip-hop, rock, pop, ballad and others.

The K-Fest Abu Dhabi 2022 is expected to be held on 10 September 2022 at the Etihad Arena, Yas Bay Waterfront in Abu Dhabi. 

Where to get tickets for K-Fest Abu Dhabi?

The K-Fest Abu Dhabi tickets are already up for sale, and you can book them through the Etihad Arena official website.  K-fest tickets are priced as per the categories: Bronze (AED 215), Silver (AED 315), Gold (AED 525), Platinum (AED 735), Platinum Plus (AED 850) and VIP (AED 1100). All prices are inclusive of VAT. COVID-19 requirements for K-Fest Abu Dhabi 2022

Following are the COVID-19-related requirements for the event:

Vaccinated attendees who are 12 years and above must present their ‘Al Hosn Green Pass’ or vaccine certificate along with a negative PCR test (no older than 14 days). Vaccine certificates that were issued outside the UAE will also be accepted.Those who are unvaccinated can present a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours. PCR tests done outside the UAE will also be accepted. Children below 12 years are not required to present a COVID-19 negative test certificate.Please wear your face masks at all times. 

What are the travel requirements to go to Abu Dhabi?

Many airline carriers are flying to the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Before you travel, you must know the latest entry regulations and visa requirements to enter Abu Dhabi. For more information, you can check out Abu Dhabi and the UAE entry rules on the Wego travel blog. Since 28 February 2022, EDE scan, quarantine and PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport have been done away with. However, the Al Hosn green pass is still required to access several public places in Abu Dhabi, such as restaurants, malls, public parks, hotels, gyms and beaches. Vaccinated travellers do not need a test before flying to Abu Dhabi, and unvaccinated travellers must present a negative PCR test result within 48 hours. Travellers who have recently recovered from the virus can present a COVID-19 recovery certificate which must be dated within 30 days of departure and must also have a QR code. Minors below the age of 12 are exempt from COVID-19 testing before departure or on arrival at the airport. Travellers to Abu Dhabi must have received two doses of one of the following vaccines to be considered as fully vaccinated:

All vaccine certificates must contain a QR code. The vaccine booster dose is not required to enter.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque

Witness the magnificent architecture of Abu Dhabi at Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the top attraction in UAE’s capital city. You can find Swarovski crystal chandeliers sculpted in 24-carat gold, 1,096 external columns, 96 interior columns dotted with beautiful jewels, a water pool and approximately 82 domes chiselled out of white marble. Also, visit the Al Jame library at the mosque, which has many books, references, periodicals of over 200 years old Islamic culture and lots more. Please note that this is a religious place and follows a few rules, including a modest dress code to tour the mosque.  

Qasr Al Watan 

This incredible landmark in the UAE offers a peek into the Arab heritage and its governing principles that have shaped history over the years. Marvel at the impressive hallways, explore various exhibitions, walk through the picturesque gardens and learn about the monument’s history at Qasr Al Watan. 

Yas Island

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi has a collection of several other attractions that make it an entertainment paradise for visitors to the capital. Home to the most famous Ferrari World, Waterworld, Marina Circuit, Beach and Links, the island is spread across 25 km of land. It also had over 40 record-breaking rides, such as the world’s fastest rollercoaster and Yas Marina Circuit, which is a very popular racetrack for the F1 Grand Prix.

The Corniche

The Corniche is stretched over an 8 km shoreline and extends from the Hilton Hotel to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi. It is a great spot to spend the day with your family and has several eateries, cafés, children’s play areas and sports facilities. The beach is also maintained to a certain standard and has bagged the ‘Blue Flag’ status that guarantees clean and safe water.
